Welcome to the Flair Hotel & Restaurant Erck, your home away from home. This is where hospitality has a long tradition. Relax in our light and friendly guest rooms after a hard day at work or a long journey. We will spoil you with meals that are “seasonal – regional – from the Baden region” in Erck – Das Restaurant, our sunny winter garden or in the herb garden. Our region has the attractions of salt baths, the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region and Karlsruhe.
The cuisine in the Flair Hotel Restaurant Erck impresses our guests with hearty delicacies from the region. Hungry hotel guests, sightseers and business travellers staying in Bad Schönborn particularly appreciate the versatile menu. Enjoy delicious snacks accompanied by a glass of wine or beer in a cosy atmosphere with friends, meet your family for a traditional meal on public holidays, or simply take a rest before continuing your journey. Every guest leaves Restaurant Erck feeling happy and well fed.
“If you want to work economically, you automatically act sustainably, otherwise you do something wrong,” says junior chef and gastronomic manager of the house, Alexander Erck. We live here in the country and maintaining our beautiful area is extremely important to us. That is why we try to conserve resources as much as possible and produce a lot ourselves – for example, we have our own bees. In everything we buy, we try to get it from the region wherever possible. So also our excellent beef, which comes from pasture cattle from the region.
The Kraichgau region lies between the Rhein and Neckar to the west and east, and between Odenwald and the Black Forest to the north and south. The “region of 1,000 hills” is a varied landscape bathed in sunshine consisting of vineyards, forests, orchards and the romantic river valleys of the Neckar, Lein, Zaber, Kirchbach and Metter. Picturesque medieval towns such as Eppingen and Bretten – also known as Melanchthon – transport you to another time and place, encouraging you to enjoy the conviviality and hospitality that is typical of Baden.
