Welcome to the families Kloker & Steinhardt

Traditional inn in Hayingen

The Flair Hotel Gasthof Hirsch in Hayingen-Indelhausen has been owned by the families Kloker & Steinhardt since 1911. Even then, the family knew what a jewel they owned. Today the Große Lautertal is a natural wonder of 2019 and a popular recreation area in the Swabian Alb biosphere area. The inn with its regional classics is very popular in the region and is a meeting place for the locals.

Perfect mix of young and old

… and the fourth generation has already joined the company. Experience and new ideas complement each other perfectly, creating a wonderful atmosphere of tradition and modernity.

Our beautiful Lautertal was awarded the Natural Wonder 2019 award. Enjoy the unique landscape of the Swabian Alb biosphere area!

The restaurant in the Hirschen

Regional Swabian cuisine

Enjoy original Swabian specialties in the restaurant. The inn convinces with down-to-earth and honest cuisine. The kitchen team attaches great importance to the quality and regionality of the dishes. In addition to game from local forests and lamb dishes from our own farm, you will also find mushrooms from the neighboring villages of Ehestetten and cheese from Altschulzehof on the menu. The restaurant with seasonal and regional dishes includes a well-stocked cellar with fine wines. The service will be happy to recommend a quarter.
Albschnecke specialty

The families Kloker & Steinhardt continue the tradition of the Albschnecke in their inn in Hayingen and offer them in different variations. The Albschnecke is a real regional, seasonal classic that everyone should have tried. Of course, freshly caught trout from the clear waters of the Lauter should not be missing on the menu.

Location

Swabian Alb

The Swabian Alb’s past is by no means merely the region’s history, it is also an example of mid-European human history. Ice-Age art – such as that of the figure of the lion man carved from mammoth ivory, the Limes Museum in Aachen, the Staufer Cities or Hohenzollern Castle – the family seat of the royal house and the former ruling Prussian royal and German imperial house of the Hohenzollern. Go on a journey of discovery in the historical sites and delve into their eventful and fascinating history. The uniquely beautiful landscape of the Swabian Alb biosphere area inspired Eduard Mörike in his inimitable poems to nature. Culture, nature and cuisine are the triad on the Swabian Alb. The famous Maultaschen stuffed pasta, Alpine lamb, delicious cheese and the rediscovered Alpine lentils taste best with a regional beer. Life is good!
