Enjoy original Swabian specialities in our restaurant. We want to impress you with our down-to-earth, honest cooking. Our kitchen staff place great value on the quality and regional nature of the dishes. On our menu, not only will you find venison from native forests and lamb dishes from our own livestock, there’s also mushrooms from Ehestetten and cheese from Altschulzehof. We are continuing the tradition of the Alb snails in Large Lautertal and offer our guests different variations of the dish in our restaurant. Of course, our menu also includes freshly caught trout from the clear waters of the Lauter.
Our restaurant with seasonal and regional dishes also has a well-stocked cellar with selected wines. We would be happy to recommend a glass.
Our conference room offers standard conference technology (flip chart, projection screen, pin boards, facilitator’s toolbox, dimming options and free WiFi). With conventional conference seating, the room offers space for up to 20 participants with an adjoining room for up to 60 people. Coffee breaks take place in the foyer in front of the conference room. We offer various flat rates or entirely in line with your requirements.
The Swabian Alb’s past is by no means merely the region’s history, it is also an example of mid-European human history. Ice-Age art – such as that of the figure of the lion man carved from mammoth ivory, the Limes Museum in Aachen, the Staufer Cities or Hohenzollern Castle – the family seat of the royal house and the former ruling Prussian royal and German imperial house of the Hohenzollern. Go on a journey of discovery in the historical sites and delve into their eventful and fascinating history. The uniquely beautiful landscape of the Swabian Alb biosphere area inspired Eduard Mörike in his inimitable poems to nature. Culture, nature and cuisine are the triad on the Swabian Alb. The famous Maultaschen stuffed pasta, Alpine lamb, delicious cheese and the rediscovered Alpine lentils taste best with a regional beer. Life is good!
