Seasonal traditional gourmet cuisine in the Flair Hotel Schwanen

We are famous for our asparagus specialities which are personally prepared by our chef. Our restaurant has been awarded by Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide. We love what we do and want to share it with you. Our culinary events range from tasting the new vintage in March to the asparagus festival in June and the St Martin’s Goose festival in November.
We hold our great kitchen party each year in December. Accompanied by live music, we open up the kitchen to our guests so they can look behind the scenes. You can sample the dishes at various stations as we prepare the meals and watch over our shoulder as we cook.

Location

Black Forest

The Black Forest is like a fairy tale with its clear lakes and idyllic river courses, gorges and waterfalls. The fir green forests in Germany’s largest low mountain range would have been the perfect scenery for brave Little Red Riding Hood, written by the Brothers Grimm. To the present day, walkers and cyclists have been following in the footsteps of old sagas and cultures on their holidays in the Black Forest in a primitive landscape which, with its extinct volcanoes of Vogelsberg and Kaiserstuhl, reminds you of the hot phase of the earth’s history and which was largely covered with glaciers around 12,000 years ago.
