Numerous hiking trails surround the hotel, so that you can not only explore the nearby Mellestollen and the Hopfgartenstollen on a guided tour of the visitor mine. How about spending a warm summer evening sociably in our beer garden, on the terrace or in our barbecue hut – in the middle of the forest? Or on cold winter days in front of our fireplace to drink a glass of red wine, which you could taste in our wine cellar?
Junior Chef Sven Pröschold won the Flair Chef of the Year 2019 award for his excellent Thuringian cuisine. The fruits of the forest can also be found on the menu of the nationally known restaurant: in addition to regional cuisine with Thuringian dumplings and game, there are also international dishes and new trends, such as “Kloßpommes”. Vegetarians will also get their money’s worth here, when junior chef Sven Pröschold, as Flair Chef of the Year 2019, lets his creativity run wild in the kitchen.
