Requirement profile:
• Secondary school leaving certificate
• the ability and joy in dealing with people
• Willingness to provide service, communication and teamwork skills
• written and spoken skills
• Knowledge of foreign languages
• good manners, pleasant appearance, friendly demeanor
• A certain degree of organizational and sales talent, ingenuity, improvisation and design skills are advantageous when it comes to organizing events

Duration of training:
The training period to become a hotel specialist is usually 3 years. It is a so-called dual training, i. H. the practical training takes place in our hotel and the theoretical training in the vocational school.

Training content:
– Receive, advise and look after guests
– Prepare and control guest rooms
– Serving food and drinks
– Prepare offers, deal with guest correspondence, create guest invoices
– Advertising and sales promotion

After several years of professional experience, one of the following further training courses can be aimed for, for example:
• to the hotel manager, restaurant manager
• Gastronom, operations manager
• Business economist, hotel business economist
• Anyone who has a university qualification can also pursue a degree in business administration in the field of tourism, hotel and catering.
