Lake Constance in the four-country border region stands for unadulterated joie de vivre. The fascinating Alpine panorama in the background offers a magnificent backdrop to all types of activities: enjoyable bathing, water sports or a relaxed boat trip over the blue expanse of Lake Constance.

The Swabian Tuscany is a top-class recreational area. Cycling along the Köcher, Jagst and Neckar rivers, cultural cycling routes along literary cycling paths, and castle or nature park routes up to the wooded mountain range of the nature parks – this is the best way to experience the versatility of the Heilbronn region.

The Kraichgau region lies between the Rhein and Neckar to the west and east, and between Odenwald and the Black Forest to the north and south. The “region of 1,000 hills” is a varied landscape bathed in sunshine consisting of vineyards, forests, orchards and the romantic river valleys of the Neckar, Lein, Zaber, Kirchbach and Metter.

The Black Forest is like a fairy tale with its clear lakes and idyllic river courses, gorges and waterfalls. The fir green forests in Germany’s largest low mountain range would have been the perfect scenery for brave Little Red Riding Hood, written by the Brothers Grimm.
